Safari Blue is the ultimate ocean adventure in Zanzibar, offering an unforgettable day of sailing, snorkeling, and seafood. Your adventure begins in the fishing village of Fumba, where you'll board a traditional wooden dhow, handcrafted from African mahogany and equipped with outboard engines, marine radios, and all necessary safety equipment. These beautiful vessels, with their distinctive triangular sails, have plied the Indian Ocean for centuries and offer an authentic Zanzibari sailing experience.

As you sail through the turquoise waters of Menai Bay, you'll have the opportunity to spot dolphins that frequently visit these waters. The bay is home to several species, including bottlenose and humpback dolphins, which often swim alongside the boats or play in the distance.

The tour includes visits to three different snorkeling sites, where you can explore vibrant coral reefs teeming with tropical fish. The crystal-clear waters offer excellent visibility, and snorkeling equipment is provided for all participants. The famous Safari Blue seafood lunch is a feast to remember. Served on a secluded island, the meal features freshly grilled fish, lobster, calamari, and prawns, accompanied by rice, tropical fruits, and refreshments. Vegetarian options are also available upon request.

After lunch, you'll have the opportunity to relax or explore the island before sailing on a traditional dhow back to Fumba. The return journey often features the unfurling of the dhow's lateen sails (weather permitting), offering a magical sailing experience powered by the wind.
